GREED ?

Everybody seeks power, everybody has a built in "mechanism" for leadership, they all have the monopoly of leadership skills in them. It is this reason that has held the country stagnant for over 51 years of independence since we got independence from the British. A country blessed with so much resources from the delta's have no adequate infrastructure, institutions, and electricity in the list of things to show for the wealth she possesses. Every Nigerian has in his head, even a child, what the problem of the Nigerian state is but solving them through the elites that be becomes a story that always ends up unhappy. our judiciary has failed us, corrupt elites are now being prosecuted by different countries all around the world (James Ibori, Diepreye Alamoeyeseighs...etc) we keep hoping with open arms, hoping if the same colonial masters will still come and continue from where they stopped from during the colonial days. I strongly believe that we are still where we are from our colonial days. The world is playing international politics and the idea of religion and region is our problem, what i call R^2. the Hausa man wants to rule forever, the Ijaw man wants 50% derivation..., the Igbo man wants more money not minding the dangers behind his actions, the Yoruba man is what i call "brother friendly" (monopoly of friends in a work place he overseas), and all these has so far is responsible for our woes and if adequate care is not taking, in the next 3 years...........to be continued
